The ad for Nurse Hiring:
1.Based on information available on the hospital’s website, create a hard-copy ad for the hospital to place in the Sunday edition of the New York Times. Which (geographic) editions of the Times would you use and why?
The hospital needs to hire nurses. There are several Nurse position need recruitment, since the ad will be placed in the Sunday edition of the New York Times, it is impossible to post the ad for each nursing position hiring, the best way is to post a broad advertisement to attract every kind of nurse to fill up the job vacancy in the entire hospital system.
The mission of our advertising is to declare to the public that several different departments in our hospital have the job vacancy. The ad will directly interest applicants to contact with Lenox Hill hospital’s website or the human resource management department by voice call. Then, applicants can review and apply for their specific job position in the Lenox Hill hospital.
The most important information on the ad is to declare the purpose, it must be clearly; we need to avoid confusing information such as ambiguous words. And then, it is necessary to leave a valid contact information, avoid to leave a wrong or outdated contact information. Some excellent employees might be missed because wrong contact information.
For the best result, the ad should contain pictures to attract the applicants’ attention and to show our hospital, and our friendly, professional medical team to the applicants.
Nurses save people’s life, they are seen as "angels in white", life-saving is their bounden duty, nurse is an honorable profession, on the ad we need to express the idea that “be a honorable nurse and save more people’s life.”
