Having attended a Catholic High School, while not being Catholic has opened many doors for me. I got to experience another religion, while learning about its origins, beliefs, and contributions to the world. Growing up in a Sikh family, I had always been taught to respect human life, work hard, give back, and remember God; a lot of these same aspects were reiterated in school, engraining them in my everyday life. One of the main concepts I took away from my high school was the concept of education hearts and minds, which in my mind resonates highly with the mission of Pepperdine.
