Mitch Lucker's Suicide Silence

What is a society without a voice? How can it be more difficult to hand out compliments than to judge a person? One man who took it upon himself to set society straight, his name was Mitch Lucker; In fact Mitch was an inspiration to many and a mindset to others. With a daughter and wife, he was given his ecstasy after many battles and struggles in life as both a child and a teen. Earning many covers on magazines and innumerable interviews, he still made time for his family and friends. Many people he met both at concerts and on the streets were considered his family, because they were the motivation to be where he was. With his band in 2009, they were awarded the Revolver Golden God award for “Best New Talent” and “Most Innovative Band” (Suicidesilence.net). Suicide Silence; a band that blew up within a year or so having been created. In July of 2011 the album the Black Crown sold over 14,400 copies within the first week of its release and debuted at position number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart (Suicidesilence.net). Mitch was giving up his family time to spend it with his band and fans, but he would always make sure that Kenadee Lucker, his baby girl was watching her daddy from side stage if she wanted to. One thing about Mitch was that if you had a problem, self-harm, eating disorder, depression, anything harmful on your mind and you met him, he would spend his time talking to you and helping you through whatever you needed (Suicidesilence.net). We are told to stay away from the “scary guys with tattoos and piercings”, but they are people too, they have daughters, families and feelings.
