We finally pull up outside this small little bar that has "The Pond" in blue letters across the top and next to it a picture of a pond with reeds and ducks sitting on top. I swear, those goddamn ducks won't leave me alone. As I'm getting out of the cab and paying the driver, he turns to me and says, "Say, I was thinking about what you said. You know, about the ducks.
