Moon Hoax
Moon Hoax: or did We Jump Over the Moon On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong will take the first steps on the moon. The motivation for this great achievement derived from the speech President Kennedy gave urging America to make it to the moon before the end of the decade. There was only one organization within the government capable of doing such a task, that was NASA. Once NASA got the funding they would immediately start planning the mission to get to the moon. This wasn’t as easy as it sounded. Not everyone within NASA agreed on the strategy that should be taken to actually land. There were two main strategies. First the lunar Orbit Rendezvous where there would be a command module that wouldn’t land and a lander called the LM that would disconnect …show more content…
Next NASA had to design a rocket and a spacecraft. They would come up with the Saturn 5 rocket and the Apollo spacecraft. Both of these would be tested multiple times before the actually landing of Apollo 11. After all this testing, on July 16 1969 Apollo 11 will take off of earth. 3 days later history is made when on July 20 1969 at 10:56PM Neil Armstrong will take his first steps. Soon after Buzz Aldrin would join him describing the moon as “magnificently desolate.” The astronauts would leave many things from science experiment to a patch honoring the crew of Apollo one. After exploring the moon they would ascend back into lunar orbit, dock with command module and then go back to earth. The crew of Apollo 11 would splash down July 24, 1969. Since then multiple organizations around the world have gone and taken pictures of the landing sites. Strangely enough some people say that moon landing never happened. They think it is a giant hoax, In fact, the official report of the …show more content…
One of these oddities is that is that a picture on the taken on the moon looks like the American flag is waving in air. This is not possible as there is no air on the moon. Another red flag is that there are no stars in the reflection of the astronaut’s helmets. It only makes sense that with stars all around them and no atmosphere that you would always be able to see stars. Another weird thing is that NASA had moon rocks in Antarctica that match composition of moon rocks brought back from the Apollo missions. Yet another red flag is that the astronaut’s footprints have been preserved very well for there being no moisture or strong gravity. Along with this these footprints being preserved, it is odd that the lunar lander did not make any prints in the ground even though it weighed 17 tons. The lunar lander also did not create a crater when landing and also did not produce a flame in either takeoff or landing. One weird thing is that the only time people will go to the moon is during the Nixon administration. With all of these holes how could anyone explain all of

Many proofs of the landing have been released to the public. For example, there is one piece of evidence that is impossible to have been from Earth. A .6mm glass spherule produced by a meteorite impacting onto the lunar soil. Dr. Marc Norman explains, "We've found a particle of fresh glass in moon rocks that were produced by explosive volcanic activity and by meteorite impacts over 3 billion years ago." In basic terms, this specific particle could have only been produced on the moon here on Earth water rapidly breaks down such volcanic glass in only a few million years. Which leads theorists to question themselves if it really indeed happened. But an open investigation is supported by people overseas too. Vladimir Markin, the spokesman for Russia's investigative Committee, penned a column for the Russian newspaper Izvestia focusing on the US FIFA corruption investigations. The list of investigations included the Apollo mission that everyone is debating about. Markin Cites the loss of the original Apollo 11 moon landing video and the “disappearance” of 400 kilograms of lunar rocks collected during Apollo missions. How can 400 kilograms of lunar rocks just disappear lunar rocks are not things you just…

Apollo 13 was a success because they solved all of they're problems and they still made it back to earth. Their problems were oxygen, co2 infected air, power, and water. To fix the oxygen problem they used a second space craft called the L.E.M, that stands for Lunar Excursion Module, as a life boat so they used its water power and energy. The astronauts were supposed to use the L.E.M to land on the moon but they were stopped short by the faulty wiring in their…

The 1960’s dealt with many instances of tragedy, but also brought about great technological and social advancements. The assassinations of Martin Luther King, Jr. and John F. Kennedy, the Cuban Missile Crisis, Civil Rights Movement, Cold War and the Vietnam War were all pivotal moments that contributed to define a tumultuous decade preceding Neil Armstrong’s walk on the Moon in 1969. The success of sending two men to walk across the land of another celestial body was more than a large scale science experiment for the United States- it was an affirmation of American ingenuity, it boosted national morale in an uneasy time, and ended the decade on an uplifted note. This work seeks to examine Neil Armstrong’s walk on the Moon, most specifically,…

In the critique of, “The Moon We Left Behind,” by author Andrew Harlan he thoroughly explains the good and bad of the essay originally written by author Charles Krauthammer. Harlan’s initial paragraphs were on the original author Charles Krauthammer’s background and summarization. He illustrates wide knowledge and facts to explain how some of the information is faulty and how the world has benefited and still continues to benefit from our trips to the moon. Harlan also states the original writing dismissed too quickly the arguments from the oppose and describes that for the right reasons most of the population would agree with further endeavors to not only the moon but beyond. He describes in the last paragraph that Krauthammer…

Only few days after Woodstock was the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon, this was of course went down as one of the most victorious days in American history, and a couple days prior to that was the murders of the Manson family. It is easily said that landing on the moon was one of the greatest accomplishments for America. This event is right at the top of the list with events such as The Civil Rights Act of 1964, Obama becoming presedent in 2009, and the Emancipation proclamation of 1863. On July 16 of 1969 three men, commander Neil Armstrong, Command module pilot Michael Collins and lunar module pilot Edwin ”Buzz” Aldrin launched inside of a rocket, with 7.5 million pounds of thrusting upward into space to make as Buzz Aldrin once said “One…

These pictures have all been debunked by using just logic and knowledge of the pictures to figure out that things make sense. One of the pictures is of the American flag flowing in the “wind” on the moon. The picture was taken right after the flag was planted which because of inertia means that the force of the flag being put down was still in the flag which was causing it to move even though the flag seemed untouched. Only 2 people were allowed onto the surface at a time so that there would still be one person…

Northrop Grumman had been chosen to build lunar module or LM. After seven years of design and construction, the first LM was ready. The small unit would be attached to the top of a Saturn rocket and sent into lunar orbit. The rocket was designed by Wernher von Braun, a famous German engineer. Von Braun had surrendered to U.S. troops in 1945 and had come to work for the Space Program. The lunar module was designed to provide backup communications, guidance control and software for mission analysis. The craft also included antennas that allowed live television transmission from the surface of the moon. The crew of Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin established orbit around the moon and made the first color television broadcast to Earth. Two days later, Aldrin and Armstrong boarded the Lunar Module for their descent to the lunar surface. After Armstrong stepped out on the moon on July 21, 1969, he spoke this famous speech on live TV, “One small step for Man, One giant leap for Mankind”. Aldrin joined him on the surface and the two men conducted experiments, gathered samples of the Moon’s surface and left a commemorative plaque at the landing site. The success of Apollo 9 forever guaranteed that the United States would always be ahead in the race to space. The Apollo program continued for several more…
