After the fifth dah of riding we arrived at Moonrock, not the tower but the outskirts of the place. Moonrock was in lower land than Skyrock and Starrock was in. It felt like living in the mountains in Skyrock, and Starrock wasn't as high but close enough. Moonrock was like in the pit of a large canyon, except obviously it wasn't as small of a space. I've heard about Sunrock, but I have no idea where it is.
We just have to find the tower right? How hard can it be? What could possibly go wrong?
...I probably shouldn't jinx us.
I looked over at Gray, he was peacefully hugging me, resting his chin on my shoulder as we rode on. He looked so happy as he stared at the scenery around us. He was starting to look tired from riding for so long. We had to stop constantly because our legs would …show more content…
fall asleep, and I had to let Zelda rest. I think we'll stop at a hotel instead of sleeping in the woods, it's colder here than it is in Skyrock and Starrock.
Gray pulled me closer and kissed me shoulder, "What are you thinking about, you always scrunch your nose when you are thinking about something important."
His kiss warmed me; after that first kiss Gray and I kissed a lot. He's also become more accustomed to touching me and not being afraid of offending me. I guess you could say I was happy, I had finally found my love we were finally together.
"I was thinking about staying the night at in Inn tonight," I told him.
"But-" He started obviously confused.
"I'll cover the money okay?" I reassured him.
"How-" He started again.
"Princess remember," I said amused.
"Oh, right, I forgot," he furrowed his eyebrows.
I chuckled, he's so adorable; I don't know how I'm still alive, his cuteness could kill me.
"Wait a second, why were you disguised as a servant back then?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows even more.
"Ah that, I was waiting for that question," I mentioned, "I was disguised because of matters of protecting me from the people of Starrock, the Queen's orders. Also probably the fact that my father, the King, never wanted me to leave the castle. Ever since the Princess' disappearance, his control over me became horrible. Being locked in the tower wasn't as fun as my life is now, besides, I prefer being with you than anything else," I said reaching back and poking his furrowed brow.
"Understandable," Gray commented, relaxing his brow embarrassed.
I laughed, "You're too cute Gray, you're going to kill me one day," I turned around quickly and pecked his cheek.
He buried his face into my shoulder trying to hide his blushing face.
We arrived at an Inn in a small village later on in the day. I ordered a room, I told Gray to go on ahead while I tended to Zelda. I tried to leave Zelda in the stables as comfortable as she could be.
"Eat up girl, you need your rest. Thank you for taking us so far, I can imagine how tired you are," I told her as I laid some hay, apples and water close to her.
She neighed at me and rubbed her head into me. Thank you, goodnight Princess.
I walked up to the room, checking my surroundings before entering the room. It looked like a cheap motel back in Earth. A small bathroom, not even too much space for a closet, a table, a desk and a large bed with comfortable looking blankets.
Gray was sprawled on the bed, he stared at the ceiling with a boring face. I wondered if he had just thrown himself onto the bed once he got up here. I heard my stomach growl as I fell into the bed next to him and joined him in staring at the
ceiling.
"I am hungry," Gray commented as he reached for my hand.
"Hi hungry," I said as I took his hand and turned to look at him with a blank face, "I'm Curry."
He glared at me, "Oh for the Gods' sake."
"Yes hungry?"
After Gray showered me in kisses for my joke, I walked around the village with him looking for a good place that looked like good food. In the end we got something that looked like curry, something that looked like meat buns, coffee and milk chocolate.
The chocolate made me think of Gale as we made our way back to our room. I checked in and saw Zelda already asleep in the stables. We ate at the table in the room, Gray noticed my sad expression.
"What is wrong Gabriela?" He asked me as he took my hand and stopped me from eating my meat bun.
"Nothing really, I just, do you remember the other servant who was with me the day we meet?" I asked him.
He thought about it for a second before the image of Gale popped into his head, "Yeah, I remember, Gale was it not?"
"Yeah," I said, "Gale was my brother."
"Oh," Gray said confused, "What do you mean by was?"
I sighed as I stared at the chocolate, "He was hung the morning I arrived to Starrock, for helping me escape."
Gray's eyes widened, "I am so sorry Gabriela."
I chuckled as I grabbed the chocolate, "His favorite food was chocolate, and he loved me so much," I wiped away my tears, "And I knew it was going to happen, those witches told me and I didn't listen. I thought they were talking about you."
He took my hand, not being able to say anything back to me.
I wiped away my tears quickly, "But let's not talk about the past and the sad moments of our lives. We should finish our food and then go to sleep."
Gray smiled at my strength, he leaned forward and kissed my forehead, "I love you."
I smiled warmly, "I love you too."
After finishing our meal, Gray fell onto the bed again and fell fast asleep. He drooled like a little boy, a shy smile plastered on his face. I tucked him into the sheets to make sure he was warm and then jumped in with him.
I smiled at his childish face as I poked his cheeks.
He squirmed, "Gabriela..." He mumbled.
I smiled, he talks in his sleep.
"Gabriela..." He moaned.
My face blushed red, did he just-
"Gabriela...no...do not leave me..." He groaned.
My eyes widened in fear as I tapped into his dream. As quickly as I had gone in I quickly left, not wanting to see what in the end would probably happen to me.
I tried to gut up but Gray clung to m shirt not letting me go, apparently I wasn't allowed to leave the bed. So instead I gave up and laid back down in defeat. His other arm went around my waist as he pulled me against his chest.
I tensed not feeling comfortable knowing what he was dreaming.
Don't freak out don't freak out! Think happy thoughts, how do you feel right now? How does...how does he feel?
My body relaxed.
He feels warm, I feel safe in his arms. His warmth was making me drowsy as I made myself comfortable in his arms.
I won't Octavian do anything more to you Gray, even if that means he has to kill me to prevent him from killing you.
Eventually I fell asleep in his arms, not knowing what to expect for the next day.
