I saw a boy laying there. Alone in the shadows. He had dark black hair that blended in with the darkness around him. His eyes were misled, blind to what was happening to him. It was very cold wherever this boy was. I could see his breath being blown away from his lungs, like an ice-cold wind being released from its cage. He was shaking in fear. But what was he so afraid of? The boy had his eyes closed. It appeared like he was sleeping, but in a way he seemed so awake. Curiosity persuaded me to watch what happened to him. All I could see was his lonely, sleek, body lying in the shadows. A single spotlight covered his whole self, but everywhere is was pitch black. This young boy looked so familiar to me. You taught me that if my children didn’t obey me, to throw things and hit them. That if my wife didn’t reach your expectations to treat her like she was nothing and call her things that should never be said to a women. You mean nothing to me.”
As he walked out the door he hoped he would never see this place again Josh went to a bridge about an hour away. This is where him and his mother went for picnics and to get away from his father. The bridge was quite beautiful. Below it, it has a river and on the bank it had tons of flowers. He sat down on a blanket he brought and pulled out some food. The food he brought was his mom's favorite thing to eat. Homemade spaghetti. He ate it all then went for a walk.

While walking he saw someone. Someone who looked just like the one he hated. Could it be? There was so much on his mind like, how did he know I was here? And why is here if he never cared about me? The man looked up with an awful face. He said “ I’m done with you. This will be the end.” Josh smirked and said “ So let it be.” This was only the beginning of the best thing that has ever happened to

Well at least that is what Josh thought. He had a power that he never knew of. He could look at the past and see the future. It was amazing. He knew what his father was going to do before he even did it. Before his father did anything he already knew his father’s plan. Josh made a better plan. A plan that would make his mom and the whole world happy. He was going to make sure his father would die.

Josh ran and hid by a bush by the bridge and waited for his father. He father came running around the corner and when he did he flipped him over the bridge. While he was flipping him his father grabbed his shirt and pulled him over with him. He knew he was going to do it but he was too excited with his new powers. They were both struggling to get out of the deep water. Then all of a sudden his father’s foot got caught in between two logs. He was caught under the water. Josh thought about helping, but he remembered what he has done. He let his father

The glistening, white snow fell slowly to the ground outside the window. The distinct shapes of the snowflakes shown; the light from the street lamp seeping through the cracks. The mumble of the heater in the corner of the room; the faint sound of the blood dripping onto the floor were the only sounds. He lay there; motionless.
