A single adjective, preceded by the word most, captures the overall essence of each type. Most responsible, “doing what should be done,” characterizes ISTJs. Responsibility is critical to my value set; fear of failure and ill preparedness are driving forces that push me to consistently do my best possible work. Building on the idea of responsibility, ISTJs are notorious for planning and creating an optimum path to success. My compulsion for order is invaluable to my leadership style. Organization and structure allows for efficient tracking and documentation of progress and creating a thorough plan guarantees the success of the project. However, it is imperative that I remain conscientious of others, not to overbearingly impose my style and recognize instances where the perceiving types will perform better with less control.
