Motivation In William Kamkwamba's Life
Motivation
Motivation is the desire to succeed in something you're doing. It's the key to all success. William Kamkwamba came from nothing with no idea about the outside world. The only thing he knew was the constant struggle with starvation and disparity in his village. Most people in the village have no plans to leave because they don't know any better. William Kamkwamba’s motivation changed his life and his people's forever.
When he left school due to lack of money, he returned once a week to the library to continue gaining knowledge about the world. He wanted to remain inspired. This shows how much he hoped for change. William wanted a better life for himself and him not giving up on learning like most would shows this. Being extraordinary isn't something you become by just doing something good. Its gotta be something worthwhile because many are great, few are extraordinary.

As humans living in a society where these things are considered a normality, this isn't special. William didn't even know these things existed till looking at pictures in a book. He built a windmill that powered his village from spare tires, broken pipes, wooden poles, and his dad's old bicycle. He learned how to do it by looking at pictures in a book that wasn't even in his languages. He tried and failed making this windmill but kept trying knowing that his family needed this. He eventually succeeded by hard work and not only did he create lights for his house but also a clean water supply. This is the task that changed William Kamkwamba from an ordinary man to an extraordinary man. His Motivation and drive to succeed to create a better life for himself inspired millions of others to do so

    William lives on a farm in the village of Masitala in Malawi. Life for him, his family, and the villagers is not easy because they have to deal with hunger, drought, deforestation, and many other hardships.
