Moy’s weight status is greatly influenced by his parents’ eating behaviors and life styles because children always model the behaviors of those close and around them. There are many reasons that may cause Moy to be overweight, such as genetic problem, sleeping time, food and beverage consumes, parent’s influences, and lack of time to do exercise. .Even though genetic can be a factor, but one person’s life styles have greater influences in weight status.
Part II: Pediatric Obesity Interventions In order to lose weight, Moy engaged in some interventions including home-based intervention and community-based intervention. Both home-based and community-based interventions work very well for Moy, and because of the intervention, Moy starts to change his life style.
