Outcome 2.1Compare the effectiveness of different leadership styles in different organisations.
There are ten different styles of leadership, i will define their effectiveness. Whichare as followed.
1. Transactional Leadership
2. Autocratic leadership
3. Bureaucratic leadership
4. Charismatic Leadership
5. Democratic/Participative Leadership
6. Laissez Faire Leadership
7. Task-oriented Leaders
8. People-Oriented/Relations-Oriented Leadership
9. Servant Leadership
10. Transformational Leadership

Transactional Leadership
These leaders are the one who focuses on the role of supervision, organisation, and group performance, group members accept them when they get job. They motivate their employees with reward and punishments. They are not into changing the future;they simply want to finish their tasks. They keep an eye on their employees, for their faults and deviations. These kinds of leaders are very effectivein emergency situations and crisis, when organisation or business want to finish project or task in a similar fashion.
[Example of transactional leadership is former Wisconsin state senator, Joseph McCarthy. His ruthless style of accusing people of being Soviet spies during the Cold War. By punishing for deviation from the rules and rewarding followers for bringing he accused communist infiltrators, McCarthy promoted results among followers. Because this leadership style is especially effective in crisis situations]

Autocratic leadership
These kinds of leaders have ultimate powers they order people and don’t consider other peoples suggestions, even they are right. Examples of these leaders can be Army Leaders, boss in company.     Autocratic leadership, also known as authoritarian leadership is a leadership style characterized by individual control over all decisions and little input from group members. Autocratic leaders typically make choices based on their own ideas and judgments and rarely accept advice from followers. Autocratic leadership involves absolute, authoritarian control over a group. It can also be derived as a dictator, domineering and aggressive behaviour. An autocratic leadership can be beneficial in some circumstances such as that decisions have to be made quickly without consulting anyone, also when projects sometimes require strong leadership so that things can get accomplished quickly and effectively.     An autocratic leader is a person who has full control over a project and takes little advice from other team members. They often make decisions based on their own initiative and hardly accept anything others have to say. The leader also dictates how the team will be run and also the work methods and processes they should use.
