This is the quote that stands out the most to me my whole life. My name is Zahra Shoukat. I am a permanent resident in the United States. My native country is Pakistan and English is my second language. I came here 3 years ago for higher education. I want to get enough education unless I become sophisticated to live an honorable and respectful life. After my transition from home country to the United States, my biggest challenge was to understand the language and communicating. After a lot of struggles, I learn how to speak English frequently, and do my best in my academic career. Now that I have improved in communicating with people I want to be more involved in different activities by joining clubs and doing more community service. In fact, a leader is someone who serves their group by taking on responsibilities and taking care of the people. Characteristics of a good leader include selflessness, kindness, empathy, a sense of purpose, a level head and good morals.
