Essay On Becoming A Member Of The NHS
I am very honored of being eligible to become a member of the National Honors Society, becoming a member of the NHS has been one of my major goals throughout my highschool career. It would be a great privilege to represent the NHS as a student with scholarship, leadership, service and character. I believe that as a student I represent these Four Pillars. For instance scholarship represents the hard work that as a student you put into your academics, but to me academics is something that I care much about and take very seriously. I always put effort towards my work by always being responsible and challenging myself to improve in what I have difficulty with. Academics isn’t just simply earning good grades but it is a way that I can improve …show more content…
During these activities I enjoyed giving back to the community which I live in and plan to continue to give back more to my community and other communities. Ultimately character to me is represented through a person through great characteristics such as responsibility, good behavior, reliability and much more. I personally believe that I am a representation of character, as a fact responsibility is something that I find to be very important to me because people such as your teachers and peers will always count on you. As well as having responsibility being reliable to my peers is something that I care much about. Being reliable to others isn’t just helping others through judgement but helping that person with rational advice which represents how much you care for them. Lastly good behavior is something that I personally strive for everyday from following the rules to being respectful, I feel like I’m doing the correct thing but I also feel like a role model to others. The National Honors Society is represented by Four pillars that represents the success of many students like me that are passionate in what they are doing and that want to become NHS member to succeed in the future not for themselves but to share it with others and change the world one step at a
