National Honors Society

As a student of Newton-Conover High School, I am honored of being among those who qualify for The National Honors Society. Throughout my years in school, I have always wanted to exceed and pursue in my education. My goals in high school were to be accepted into different programs and societies based on my excellence performed during school. I have been a member of The National Beta Club since middle school and continue to be apart of. I have looked forward to opportunities just like these since I was in elementary school. Being apart of this society will not only help me today or tomorrow but in the future as well. I feel like I fit well into this society because I love serving for the community as well as being a leader and helping others out. I would be more than happy to accept this honor of being accepted into The National Honors Society because I have worked my hardest in school and out of school to become a succeeding individual each and everyday. As a leader, I hope to change and impact the lives of others. I hope to demonstrate my abilities of being someone that you may look up to and someone that you can trust. First off, I love to work together with others and collaborate in order to succeed in something. Whether it is a group project or discussing as a group about a certain topic, I love talking with others to work things out together versus one person doing all of the work and figuring it out by themselves. I also love to hear others opinions and ideas to see how others think compared to myself. Second, I love to help and support others. As a cheer team, we all volunteered as a group to go sing Christmas carols and make cards for all of the loved ones at the nursing home. As an individual, doing community service makes me feel like a good citizen and to know that I accomplished this goal makes me feel even
