Why I Want To Be A Health Technician
For my research paper and my interest in my future job will be Health Technicians. What Health Informatics do is manage health-related industries with information and facilities. They can manage hospitals, nursing homes, health center, and any other health-related workplace. They do a lot around the building, from checking on patients and taking reports of them to working at the front desk with the computers and phones. Working with the patients would deal with taking reports, they do not do much cleaning, but they do have to make people feel comfortable in there own room. When working behind the desk you would need to know how to manage a computer and the phones there. They could need to know how to file paperwork, how to check people in the hospital, or helping people find the room they need. The paperwork will be a big part of working over at the main desk in the hospital because you have to make …show more content…
You can step it up and take more college and be in more of the scientific part of being in Health Informatics and get paid more. The median wage for being the more scientific part or even the technician part is around $40,790. Which is not much more than being just your basic Informatics manager. The job outlook in 2014 was 188,600 and in 2024 they will think it will increase 29,00 which is about 15% faster than normal for Health Informatics. For colleges, Northwestern University is one of the schools that popped out to me the most. It's a beautiful campus and it is in Illinois so not far from home which is nice. That's the way I would like it. Many for the classes there are good to take to be in this field and has a great program. I have not been there personally, but I feel like I will like the environment of it. If I could find something in state that would be even better. I have not looked into that much, but I will definitely do that once I look more into the
