Ms. C Johnson's Drill: A Narrative Fiction
“Noooooo” i said as I walked into Ms. C Johnson’s classroom seeing a substitute standing outside. I thought today was going to be an okay day having to deal with her.
“Alright class, today we will be having a intruder drill, this will consist of us doing what we are taught if this happens for real at this school at some point in the future. Does anyone know what to do and can help me with this?” the teacher said.
“ I Can, I have been through this many times and at many different schools.” I Said, proud with the confidence I have.
” Okay, I know how to get the red bag out of the closet, but I need help with the rest.” She said. We continued with class until the principal came over the intercom.
“Ladies and gentlemen, there is an intruder in the building, go into your positions, we have been over this.” Mr.Taylor said

It was so quiet that we heard the gears grinding when he applied the handcuffs on the man’s wrists.
What felt like forever after we heard him catch the criminal, the intercom came on.
“ I am happy to announce that the criminal has been caught and there have been no casualties. I thank you all for helping us by maintaining your patience and being very agile at getting ready.”
“Thank you class for being cooperative today in that we could get through that without losing anyone. I will be writing an AMAZING note about how you guys were a great help in that we could stay alive during this. Thank you so much again for a great time today, even though someone entered the building with a firearm” “Your welcome” the whole class said in unison. Later we figured out we sat in the room for all of 2 hours in which felt like 5 minutes. We ended up getting released early since parents were worried about their children. It was a ok day discarding the fact about the intruder. I am just happy we all ended up alive and
