I achieved all the standard goals parents set out for their kids like graduating high school, going to a great college, and landing a steady job while starting a family. In certain people's eyes I achieved the american dream; college degree, big house, steady income, and a loving family. Although those goals are big and glamours those were not my biggest goals that achieved. In my young adult years I study Fine Arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York. I went on to receive my Masters in Fine Arts and my Bachelors in business. Moving on from college with two degrees was a parent's greatest dream for their child. During that time I met my partner and began the new adventure of family and parenthood. My family consisted of my two kids and my husband. My family held a big part of my heart but my drive for work and business held a even bigger part. I continued to travel and open up galleries all over the states which required me to be away from home for long periods of time. I was still a mom to my kids but let's just say they were much closer to my husband, their father. I never stopped working, my drive for job only grew stronger and stronger over the years.
