My Band Journey

For many people, music is the only escape from the harsh realities we all face in our daily lives. A great activity offered to the students in my school is band. First, though out the years, I have made countless friends that, I am sure, will be my friends for a long time to come. Second, learning to play an instrument was as fun as playing video games with my best friends. It is infuriating and frustrating, but most of the time, it is tons of fun. Last, when the band goes on field trips, I get out of school and laugh at all the people who do not get to go. I get to escape from all of my classes for a day, and all of my fellow students are stuck with nowhere to go. As one can conclude, band is the best activity offered by my school.
Since my first year joining band, I have had multitudes of opportunities to get out of school. We go on field trips to concerts, musicals, and marching band competitions about once a month, every month. Most of the time, our destinations are really far away, on account of my school being in the middle of nowhere. Consequently, we do have to leave school a little early. Our last field trip was to the Barter Theater, and since it was a couple of hours away, we had to leave from school as soon as the tardy bell rang. Upon arrival, even though we left incredibly early, we were still five minutes late. As I have stated, band is a great opportunity to get out of
Through band, I have made many friends from America and other foreign lands. There are some friends who have a life-long guarantee. Learning to play an instrument has made my life change for the better. Since I have seen how smart I really am, I want to go to college now, all because of band. Although I hate to say it, getting out of school can be a huge relief. Stress has never been scared away faster by anything else than a nice day off with my friends watching a nice musical. One of the best escapes from life, by far, in the music world, and after writing this, I am ready to escape
