For seven years I have been part of some sort of musical group. While I haven’t chosen for certain my musical route in college, I have been looking into music education. Being drum major would profoundly assist the skills I need to progress in order to teach children all that music has to offer. Since music is very important to me I would take it very seriously and work as hard as I could to help everyone understand the music effortlessly with my conducting.
As for character of what I would bring to the band, I am laid back and easy going but I can be very strict when I need to. Whenever we aren’t doing something I usually chat or goof off, but when it’s time to begin, it’s time to settle down, so I center my focus and get right to work trying to get everyone to fall into line. I am very dedicated to music and band so there wouldn’t have to be any worries with my responsibilities for the band.
