My First Birthday Without My Family
10…9...8…7…6….5….4….3….2….1…clock ticked 12, My mom,dad and sister standing with a smile on their faces and my favourite choclate cake in their hands. I was smiling like a little girl and clapping madly for myself. I made a wish and blew the candle on my cake. We ate the cake but I was least concerned about the cake right now and the reason for that is the surprise gift I receive every year on my birthday.I wanted to know what am getting today..!! I went to my dad and closed my eyes by stretching my hand in front of him for my surprise. He just placed little black box with a satin bow on it. I opened it very quickly and was dumbstruck for a second, Can you guess what I got? There was a key to my favorite car and that would be my black Mustang. I hugged my dad again and kissed him.I was really very happy and excited to show it off to my friends. I was searching for my phone to call them. I found something constantly vibrating and expected that to be my phone under the pillow. And guess what?? That was my alarm going off and spoiling my most amazing dream. I just realized that I dreamt my birthday with my family who are not here with me for the first time in my life. It was the first time that my mom did not wish me first ,my dad did not kiss me on my forehead and my sister did not hug me. I was sad and missing them terribly. I realized my phone was showing some unread mails, So I opened my inbox and was surprised to see a mail from my dad. I opened it and found a video attached in the mail. I was little surprised and wanted to know what was the video about so,I clicked on view button and there was my mom and dad and my sister standing and singing the birthday song for me. It made me very happy and teary eyed, as things like that does to you. I saw that skype video call popped up on my laptop screen and received it. And there stood my family with the same cake
