Introduction
A bed and breakfast (or B&B) is a small lodging establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast, but usually does not offer other meals. Since the 1980s, the meaning of the term has also extended to include accommodations that are also known as “self-catering” establishments. Typically, bed and breakfasts are private homes with fewer than 10 bedrooms available for commercial use.

My proposal:
The long-term goal of “O Sole Mio” Bed and Breakfast is to become the best choice in Dundee (Scotland) for temporary lodging by creating a differentiated experience capitalizing on personal service. We plan to be more than a great bed and breakfast. We plan to create an environment of pampered luxury that surpasses the standard fare for Dundee. Expanding our exposure via the Internet and introducing our new opening B&B to people that have not yet discovered the upcoming development in Dundee will allow us to create a higher than average occupancy rate and above average profits.
Name of the Business
“O Sole Mio” translated means “My Sun”. The name comes from the fact that Dundee is been described as the Sunniest city in all the Scotland. Also, the name it was inspired to me by a famous Italian song, so because the business will be runned by Italian here we are “O Sole Mio”.

The brand new building near the Waterfront with construction completed, it will have the potential of four rental units with owner-occupancy in an unused room.
