My City Council Curfew

My city council is considering making a curfew that would make it illegal for teens to be on the streets after 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends. I highly disagree with the curfew for many reasons. For one, Some people have to work. Some people are forced to travel at night because of work and sometimes their children. I strongly feel that the curfew will cause problems for people who are working, traveling, and socializing.. One reason that I do not like the idea of a curfew is because some people have to work late into the night. For example, growing up I always went to get my sister from work and she didn't get off until 10:00 p.m. ! If they put this curfew in order people like my sister would have a hard time getting home. Not to mention the people that get off later than 10:00 p.m. If the city council puts this in place people like my sister are gonna have to find different ways to get home.
I can remember many times when I’ve travelled late at night. If the city council puts the curfew into effect, teens that have to walk where they need to go will be getting in trouble. Not to mention the teenagers that walk home from work. I do not agree with the curfew because if you do not have a car, you couldn’t travel at night. Lastly, I disagree with the curfew is because sometimes friends and family that you need or want to see don't get off of work until after curfew. If you had to deliver a message to someone that didn't have a phone late night, but they didn't get off of work until midnight, how would you deliver the message? You couldn't deliver the message! If the message was important, you will want them to get it immediately, but it's illegal if the curfew is in effect. I highly disagree with the curfew because of how late some people get off of
