My Clearfit Assessment Examples
ClearFit Assessment

My ClearFit assessment was a very true and eye-opening reflection of me. Something that resonated with me was my liking for structure as I do like my work to have some format and direction to it. I am not good with dealing with extreme work environments, where it is “either highly structured and routine on the one hand or highly dynamic and unpredictable on the other” (Career Feedback Report 11).

One personal example that shows my strength for consideration for others and team orientation is during high school projects. There were many projects which required teamwork and a willingness to help others. Whenever I could, I would lend a hand to someone who didn’t understand what they were doing. One example of this is when there was an accounting project, which consisted of teams of four. One of my group members didn’t understand what to do, and I helped them along the way, while also completing my part.

I am a person who has “strong feelings about obstacles and challenges at work” (Career Feedback Report 13), and does not deal with stress very well. One example of this is during these past two weeks for exams. I had four exams so far, which all contributed to my stress levels rising. I had problems dealing with so many exams, that the stress sometimes made it hard to study and concentrate.

One aspect of my ClearFit assessment that surprised me was my openness to change, or lack thereof. The assessment shows that I do not like change, and do not adapt very well to change. This surprised me, as I have always thought of myself as a person who can handle change and adapt to it very well. However, this explains my likeness to structure, and knowing about what to do and how to do

Stress has helped me before, especially with meeting my deadlines by improving my time management skills. As well, stress has aided me in working towards effective conflict resolution skills, if the root of my stress revolves around people. Also, the feeling of conquering my tasks makes me feel good, so there’s also that pleasure factor to take into account. Stress motivates me to do better, but in moderation. The only way stress is helpful is if it’s taken in dosages, and if it becomes too overwhelming I need to take a break. I know when that time comes intuitively, and if I don’t I can take a look at my body’s response. I’m prone to breaking out when I’m under a lot of stress, as well as experiencing fatigue all the time. Once it reaches a certain point, I take a day off of school, or do something fun with my friends. Taking care of my mental wellness is as important to me, if not more so, as my physical well…

Whether at work or home I try to make sure that all tasks be completed within it’s time frame, if there are more than several tasks then a to-do-list by priority is the best option, that way I’ll know what needs to be completed by priority. Finally the assessment that really got me was “How Stressed are you?” (Bauer & Erdogan, 2013) the results were extremely high. I thought that the result would be average or minimal. Of course there are some days that can be frustrating than others but its nothing that I can’t handle. It’s the out of your control type of stress that I think is the factor, there is nothing that can be done about it right away it would take more time to…

One of my biggest strengths is that my friends and family feel that they can count on me to be fair when it comes to decision making or helping people see each other’s point of view. An overlooked aspect of life is the ability to work with other people. No matter how smart one is, if they cannot work with people it negates that characteristic. Throughout the years of being a Dulles varsity cheerleader, I have learned the fundamental aspect of teamwork. My most significant experience in working as a part of team occurred when I was apart of the softball team. Without my teammates I wouldn’t have learned all that I know now about softball today. I was familiar with the softball players. We helped each other improve, whether it was with running, practicing drills, catching, or throwing. We never left a teammate behind. During practices we all ran as a team. During games we also chanted when the batter hit the ball. With out my team I wouldn’t have been as good as a softball player. So to me with teamwork come new friends and wonderful coaches.…

Over the last few years I have learned how important it is to understand how everyone is different and what that means in a team. Everyone learns differently and everyone needs different kinds of development and recognition to keep them motivated. Understanding this and beginning to individualize my processes helped to improve so many of my team members. After tailoring myself to fit their needs moral improved significantly. As important as this is, there are issues with this theme as well. You should find a balance between individualizing enough to help your team, and treating others so differently that they would see it as favoritism of some sort.…
