My College Goals
I have been known to learn the best when the teacher goes over it, and then as a class we do it, to see if the whole thing makes sense. Based on this learning style my most productive way to process information about college is to visit their website and take in as much information as I can. Then as I have that information I will contact the school by phone or by email to talk about the little things that I did not see on the website, and what would be the best way to approach the goal I want to reach in my life. In college I am mostly worried about having a good relationship with my professors, and knowing the things they like to see out of their students.
My ultimate goal in life is to play college football at a 4 year university and after

I see myself going to a medium sized college, hopefully playing college football there and studying parks and recreation to make my dreams come true. College is one of the most important decisions someone will ever make, and it really is worth taking the time to make the right decisions, because the decisions we make about college are going to affect us for the rest of our lives. I need to make sure that this college has everything I am looking for and the student body is one that fits my needs and my …show more content…
I also pick this college because it is not too far from home and I would feel like if I went there, it would still feel like home. I am confident in the decisions I have made so far, and I plan to stick to this unless I find a college that I really like better then my first choice. I have discovered in these activities that colleges have many different characteristics and have many different views. College is a very important decision, and the decisions I make about college can affect me and the rest of my life. I really think I am ready to lock down and work to the best of my ability to make these dreams come true. There is nothing more I want than to play college football and have a great college career. All I have to do now is do my best in the classroom and on the field, research more on the colleges I am looking at and see where things lead. I am really dedicated to do this, and I am going to do everything it takes to accomplish

In my opinion, both narrators are unreliable. Although both narrators are unreliable, I believe that the narrator in "The Black Cat" is is a little more reliable. It's hard to say that one narrator is more reliable when they both have very similar characteristics. Both narrators are delusional and have personal issues. As I read "The Tell-Tale Heart," I learned that the narrator had no friends, he was paranoid, and he probably didn't know the difference between real and unreal. There is no doubt that the narrator in "The Black Cat" has anger management issues. These anger issues led to the murder in a short story. The main reason that I chose the narrator in "The Black Cat" to be more reliable was because I knew more about him. Meanwhile,…

When summer came I got plenty of scholarship offers from colleges, however a good portion of them just wanted me for my football ability and had horrible learning programs so I instantly threw those away. I finally decided on one and applied to that college. They accepted me and I enrolled. I went to college and played football and did great, but I still had the other half of college to worry about. I wasn't going to think I was going to get to be a pro no matter what so I studied hard to become a Civil engineer. After three years I had the opportunity to become a pro and I accepted it. After spending two years in the minors I got called up. When my first game with the Green Bay Packers came I was nervous, wondering what it would be like. I was a defensive end and I was very good at that position and had learned a lot in the minors but nevertheless I was worried. The game started and the my team lost the toss. Our kicker kicked the ball and the receiver came to my end of the field and him and I were facing each other and all of a sudden I tripped over myself and the Detroit Lions scored a…

Being an okay size, height and being good in high school doesn’t mean college football will be my thing. I feel like it is too intense and dangerous and I’m a very laid back guy. When it comes down to the end of high school I would like to go to school and get my degree in some sort of medical or business field. I have always wanted to save up money to buy a house that I can fix up and make a profit on, because that’s how my parents both started to start making money. Even though I am unsure my post-secondary plan in general is to go to college, work and then if I find an opportunity or field I love I will pursue it. It seems like a lazy strategy but to me it seems like a better idea to have options and go with the flow. I would like to travel to different places in the world because life is short and if you want something you should go after it. I have always looked up to my brother for good and bad examples. When I see things that go wrong I say that can never happen to me, and when he does good things I want to…

Where I wanted to go to college, was a question that loomed over my head for most junior year and the summer before senior year. Deciding where you want to go to college is a major milestone decision, one which I carefully thought over. I knew I wanted to attend a liberal arts college, because I believe the mind is a garden that requires cultivation. I knew I wanted to be in an environment that really pushed me to think conceptually and without censor. When Brandeis University, in Waltham, Massachusetts, came up in my college search, I was immediately intrigued. Brandeis has a long history of promoting social justice and giving back to the community, so I was delighted when I got my acceptance letter in February!…

The sport I will be study is basketball. Basketball is one of the few sports whose exact origin is definitely known. In the winter of 1891–1892, Dr. James Naismith, an instructor in the YMCA Training College (now Springfield College) at Springfield, Mass., deliberately invented the game of basketball in order to provide indoor exercise and competition for the students between the closing of the football season and the opening of the baseball season. He affixed peach baskets overhead on the walls at opposite ends of the gymnasium and organized teams to play his new game in which the purpose was to toss an association (soccer) ball into one basket and prevent the opponents from tossing the ball into the other basket. Because Dr. Naismith had…

College is one of the periods of life where there is most growth, both personally and academically. Going to college is a very challenging yet rewarding experience. It brings people out of their comfort zones personally, whereas academically, people get to focus more on what they are good at. In my case, it will be a challenge to adapt to the college environment at the same time that it will be very comfortable to finally study subjects that truly interest me. This exciting challenge is the main reason I want to go to college.
