During a game, if we are losing, we don’t just give up. No we keep trying and working to make plays work so we can score and win. During life, if things aren’t going my way and I want something to happen, I’m going to keep going and working until it happens. I persevere. The last word and to me, the most important, heart. Having heart means that when the odds of winning or coming back or accomplishing life's goals are against me, that’s when my grind starts. During life, we all need a lot of heart. Especially when we have dreams and people say that we will never accomplish them. I have a dream of going to a nice college to play football. People always tell me that I will never make it or they make up excuses for saying I won’t like saying that I’m too small to play in college. Well my grind has started already. My heart is determined to play football in college. Throughout my life and football career, I’ve learned many things. But those three words, determination, perseverance, and heart are the ones that stand out to me the most. Be determined to not give up dreams. Persevere until those dreams become reality. My focus level was as high as ever and I was improving my talent day by day. Hard work does really pay off. I worked hard and did my job throughout the year and on the field. There are so many imperative pieces to the team that must function properly to carry out the team’s mission; winning. There is an offense and a defense that are in very different roles but in order for the team to succeed, they must both perform at a high level. Moreover, a quarterback has a specific role that he attempts to perfect, while receivers, kickers, running backs and offensive linemen all assist the quarterback in making sure the operation is ran successfully. In anything that we would like to succeed I we must be determined. Determination is staying focused on a plan even though the path to its end may be difficult. Unfortunately, it was hard for me to actually showcase my talents, because sometimes I would miss or even have to walk to my practices or games.…

“Down!” he screamed. My feet were planted in the soft turf, ready to spring off and make a tackle. “Set!”. My muscles tensed, ready to perform whatever task I required. The dazzling stadium lights danced on the shiny helmets of our team. Somehow all of the shouts and cheering were blocked out of my ears and the only noise that was audible was the other players. It was just me, my teammates, and the other team. “Hike!” I leapt forward with amazing speed, anxious to perform at my…

In March 2011, I took a few days of classes and received my hunting education certification. Looking back, the actual class time is just a blur of what not to do, but I was reminded of them when I took drivers education last December, with the what not to do teachings. I also remember being very nervous about the test, but having a great feeling when I learned I passed. That October, I remember being immensely excited to go on my first hunt. The night before my dad and I left, I had a parent teacher conference and I remember getting some strange looks in the parking lot because we had a trailer loaded with tents, four wheelers, chairs, and a bunch of other stuff…

I have never had played sports before and regret not doing so. Sure yeah i played soccer or football in middle school for fun, but i never really understand it. What made me want to play football was I wanted to be like my older brother and play football. I actual was quite similar to him when he played. I played freshman football in the same school as he did his freshman year. Throughout the year playing football I learn a lot I went to practice everyday like I’m suppose to and will admit I was scared the first practice with football pads. The first thing we did was a hit and wrap drill. I went in as the offensive player and all I had to do was run at an angle and let the defender hit me. So I was in my stance getting ready to run or getting ready to get hit I was looking at the defender and of course didn’t think he would hit hard due to how short he was so it made me less nervous. I ran on go and then I knew it I got hit and it was so painful I did not think that it would have hurt so much. After the impact I had tears I was hiding it so no one can see, from there I didn’t want to go again and I was thinking to myself is this really what I want to do for 3…
