My Daily Routine
My Daily Routine

I normally wake up at 5:00 am wash my face and brush my teeth with a brush. I take physical exercise to keep my body healthy and fit. Early in the morning I worship to god with flowers and akshitaas.

Worship to God

I have my breakfast with a piece of bread and cup of a tea. Sometimes I take chapati as well in my breakfast.

A typical Nepali Breakfast

After having a delicious breakfast I prepare myself for the study with the utmost sincerity. It is against my principle to have any private tutor. I accept the guidance of my elder sister who has proficiency in English, mathematics and physics as well. After devoting myself to study from 6 A.M to 9 A.M, I take my meal prepared by my mother at 9.15 A.M. and proceed to the college situated at a distance of 5 km from my house. I go to college by public bus.

My College

The classes begin at 11.00 A.M. usually. On the way to school I talk a great variety of topics with students coming from different parts of the city. I maintain punctuality in attending classes. The teachers are very much interesting. They give knowledge practically more than theoretically. In the classes we listen to the teachings of the teachers with rapt attention. The break is allowed for an hour. In the break hour I take the snacks with my friends. I play some outdoor games like Table Tennis for energizing my spirits. In the break time also I also go to the library to read books and magazines as well.

Our Library

The break breaks at 2:35 P.M. and thereafter we continue for four periods. The school breaks up at 5:25 P.M. in the evening and I get back home. Having placed my books and notes in the proper place I wash my hands and face. After having a little Snacks I keep myself busy with the laptop searching different theories about physics. I begin my studies at about 7:00 P.M. and start doing my home assignments. As a matter of habit, I watch the current news at 8:00 P.M and take my supper at 9:00 P.M.

Presiding as a juror in the case of City of Winesburg vs. George Willard, I present henceforth my written verdict. The City of Winesburg has charged the defendant, George Willard, as a grotesque living with an obsession of maturity. Having defined a grotesque as one who takes truth(s) and abides his entire life after them, Mr. Willard faced a serious allegation. Due to the defense’s witnesses providing evidence that aligned with the accusations leveled by the prosecution, I find the defendant guilty as charged.…

After the Civil war America went through a period of Reconstruction in order to rebuild and unify the nation. During this time both the North and South were looking for ways to redefine freedom especially for the newly freed slaves. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated so unexpectedly that no one really knew what he had planned or wanted to do in order to reconstruct the country. Looking back reconstruction was unfinished and created many problems for the nation. President Johnson believed that there was no reason for African Americans to be part of Reconstruction even though the main goals were to unify and give rights and freedom to all citizens.…

“The school schedule is a series of units of time: the clock is king...how much time do I have with my kids, is the teacher’s key question” (Sizer pg. 40). School periods are about fifty minute each and students and teacher have a few minutes to go from class to class. Mr. Sizer argues that going from class to class gives the school day a kind of restless and hectic quality and provides the students with many distractions. Mr. Seizer point is strong, restlessness and distractions seem to go hand and hand here, once the children enter the class they must be resettled and their attention refocused leaving even less time for learning. In addition, most schools have at least one class that is called a “split class”. During “split classes” the student starts their class period, then, half way through it is interrupted so they can go to lunch or attend another activity. After they have finished lunch or the other activity they then…

Elementary students head to school with the activeness of a bumblebee, while teenagers start their days as walking zombies. School plays a role in the youth’s future and for that, all accouterments that weigh it down should be eliminated. One of the accouterments is middle and high schools’ early timings. Most schools start early in the day, typically at 8 am, to give students the chance to participate in activities after school. Yet, teenagers find it a hassle to preform so early. Therefore, middle and high school should start later during the day since it is more beneficial for teenagers.…

Student Life Redefined Indisputable in today’s civilization, it has become unmistakable that the equilibrium of time spent on students’ social, emotional, physical, and academic life is categorically corrupted—an overload of assignments and activities for students often causes a lack of energy and inadequate spare time, many times leading to superabundant stress. Steven Guzman, a twelve year old, runs the same routine every day: He wakes up, goes to school, does homework, and sleeps, with no time for anything else but to eat. The author goes on giving solid information from examinations about extended school hours and time tired out from sports. Students pretty much experience the same time crunch as their parents. Additionally, nearly all children are now also losing free or play time, which could cause harmful effects in the future.…
