The most important topics covered this week are in both chapters this week we had lengthier vocab words. Moreover, the legalese terms are an extremely critical to the paralegals career, it is pertinent that we learn and execute the information obtained through this course. Further, depositions are rather exciting to me, I hope as a class we are able to research some famous depositions from previous lawsuits, and discuss in class so that we are familiar with the process. Lastly, chapter 8 discusses discovery which is a very lengthy complicated process. There are several Federal rulers pertaining to the discovery process that a paralegal must learn and incorporate in the legal field. There are several factors to ESI stored information, and…

This is the forth week after I went to UCI which is getting busier than I thought when I was a high school student. Since I left my country to the United States, I have made plenty of friends from all over the world in UCI. In this week, the importance of time management impressed me a lot because after I made the calendar for this quarter I found actually I have a lot of work to do. It is important for a college student to manage his or her time reasonably. Meanwhile, it is not high school now. There is no body who is keeping telling you what to do today or always reminds you when the midterm or final is. In last three weeks, I just roaming everyday, hang out with my friends even in weekdays. All I did just finished the homework that professor or TA asked me to do. However, after I made my own schedule, I began to realize there are far more work I should do. For instance, I have to spend at least extra two hours on my study everyday so that I could be able to manage all the knowledge that professors discussed in class. In addition, I met some obstacles in my statistics class recently and I decided to spend more time on it everyday instead of stay up all night before the midterm or quizzes in order to get a better grade. By the way, I found it is ridiculous to study all night before the exams for me because my brain cannot work normally without a good sleep and usually it is not efficient to rush. Study is always a process of accumulation. It cannot be finished by one strength so how to manage your time becomes a critical issue in order to better your grades for college students. And I am trying to make my own study space and keep it during my university life.…
