It was a cold cloudy morning on December 30, 2007, I was sleeping when I was awoken by my Dad. He woke me up and said, “I have a late Christmas present for you,” he then proceeded to hand me two Packers tickets for the game that day. I jumped out of bed and started yelling out of joy. Growing up watching the Packers on TV every Sunday, I had always dreamed of going to a Packers game. I do not think I could have been more excited. My dad told me to hurry up and get ready for the game so we would not be late. I rushed upstairs and quickly grabbed my Packers apparel and everything else I needed for the game and then quickly hopped in the shower. As soon as I got out of the shower and got dressed we were off.

Hearing those cheers gave me chills and got me even more excited than I already was for that game. Once the Packers got the ball back, Brett Favre led them down the field for a touchdown. I will never forget that first touchdown I saw at Lambeau Field, Brett Favre handed the ball off to Ryan Grant on the right side of the field and Grant proceeded to dip and dodge players from the Detroit Lions defense on his way to a 27-yard rushing touchdown. Immediately after I remember hearing the Packers signature touchdown song play and seeing Ryan Grant run towards the stands to do the signature Lambeau leap. Watching and hearing that sequence of events sent chills up and down my spine. I was mesmerized that I completely forgot to cheer and scream for the touchdown. The next possession Brett Favre led the Packers offense to another touchdown and I did not forget to cheer for that, I was screaming so loud that I am pretty sure an astronaut could have heard me. Once the second quarter was done my dad and I made our way to a concession stand for a halftime snack. I did not know if that bratwurst was just cooked to perfection, or if I was starving, or if just being a Lambeau Field and watching the Packers made that bratwurst taste more delicious than anything I had ever eaten, but man was that brat
