I did not realize how excited I was for the game. Since we were up so early my dad took me to the batting cages. I got to my team's field and saw the perfectly chalked batter's box and baselines. I went into to the dugout and saw the lineup and I was batting first! I had the same excitement in this moment as I do every time I get a king size crunch bar on Halloween. I started to warm up and I felt good. Game Time was coming up but it felt like forever.
