When facing these important decisions, it is easy to become confused. As a child and teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. Growing up my goals and aspirations were to go to college, medical school and become a nurse. A lot changed during that period of time till now. During high school years I was very uncertain about any career goals I may have had. I was lost and confused about what I wanted to become later down the road. I had lots of thoughts going through my head. At one point I almost gave up on going to college because nothing would interest me. My happiness in what I do is part of my goal. There is no way someone can become successful if they are not happy with what they are doing. Education is very important for me. Most of the job fields require a decent education. Having a good job is very important so in my future I can not only support myself but my future family I will have one day. One of the most important days of my life has just happened recently. My overall goal is no different than any other student. I became very interested in becoming an interior designer.
Interior designing seems to be an easy, fun career. How hard can it be to transform rooms into a fantasy comparable to Disneyland? After doing more research on it, I realized it’s not as easy as I thought.
