My Mother's Biography
Born in a small town, my mother began her journey through life. His father, a hard working man, raised his eleven children in a very disciplined way. It was from here that my mother learned much of her punctuality. At a young age, she was learned to help her parents to earn a living. After her high school education, because her parents can’t afford her to go to college she decided to go in Manila to find a job. Then she met my father, they fell in love with each other and get married. They had five children, and I’m the eldest. Being a mother of five children is not easy especially when they are still young and does not have enough maturity in understanding the world. I remembered when were still young, she helps my father by cooking delicacies and selling it by going to different houses. But this is not enough because we are growing and our needs also grow. In the year 2008, she went to abroad to work: to earn for our education. I know it’s not easy for her because she will be away with us. Ever since I’m still young, I can see the sacrifices of my mother, that’s why I chose her because she was the one who made a big influence in my life. Through all the hardships she’s been experiencing, she remains kind and strong. She’s very religious, now she’s one of the Pastors of their church in Spain. I remembered when she’s with us, she have given me guidance, even when sometimes I wouldn’t listen. She have loved and believed in me. She have been my friend, my cheerleader, my counselor, my protector, my cook, my maid, my nurse, but my favorite thing she have been is my MOM.
Having a mother like her was the greatest gift and biggest advantage. It is because of the values that she brought in me that made me who I am today. She is truly an amazing person both inside and out and even though she’s away from us, I know I always have a wonderful mother in my life to look up to. I hope that one day in the future I can be half the woman she is. She has given me a great example of how a woman can surpass all challenges and fully succeed in all aspects of life.

She is the kind of person who has always been very involved with all parts of our daily lives. In fact, she was the kind of mother who always had time for her three sons, worked full-time and had time to devote to community projects too. I was always glad that she was present at my games and supported me through school, but it took me over a decade to learn what motivated her to be so enthusiastic about her job as a mother of three sons.…

She is the glue which keeps our family together. Her sacrifices and efforts for our family are countless. I vividly remember the time when I was nine, when both my mother and father were working. I used to come back from school in the afternoon and just so that I didn’t feel scared or alone after coming from school, she used to drive all the way from her office and back to the house in the one hour rest break that she had. In this time she would clean me up, give me food, and put me in bed before leaving back for office. The little kiss on the forehead that she used to give me before leaving for her office again was the most precious thing for me at that…
