Legislate- “Cover, affect, or create by making or enacting laws.”

2.) Setting- The setting if the story was in the cemetery that one of the main characters was taking a shortcut through to get to work.
Protagonist- When the story started I thought the chairman of the school board would be the protagonist. But now that I’ve read it, I think that Wes was the main character because the story was more about him than anyone else.

Honestly, one day in a year is not enough to thank her for all the tedious tasks she does for me over the years. We should be taking care of our mothers every day, give her gifts often and not just only on Mother’s Day or her birthday. I can’t possible give her enough credit for taking care of me when I was little, and even now. My mom works hard and makes sacrifices, so my life would be better. There are not a lot of people willing to do that, so I let her know I appreciate it.
5.) Whether I was sick with a fever or devastated about my dog's passing, she's always comforted me and made me feel better with her hugs and words. She taught me everything I need to know, to get through life. She teaches me to be (more) selfless, and be a nice person. The impact that my mother has made is obviously for my own good. I may not agree with her on certain things, probably because I am a teenager and hard headed, but in the end, It is all for the best.
6.) When I was a toddler, my mom taught me how to dress myself, eat by myself, and she potty trained me. She taught me kindness and integrity, and to always see the best in people. As I got older she never stopped teaching me how to live life. She is a role model for me because, she’s human; and she makes mistakes and she owns up to them and tries to fix them to the best of her ability. She continues to influence my life by just

The story’s antagonists can be associated with several characters, Brother Leon, Archie Costello and The Vigils, and Emile Janza. Brother Leon is one of the bigger rivals and enemies in the book because, besides from antagonizing Jerry, he tends to undermine others as well and create a hostile environment for the students, attributing the domination and violence at Trinity high school to his responsibility. Brother Leon tends to find fault in the others at the school and controls the other administrators that work with him at the school district. With the manipulative behavior that he greatly uses to his advantage, Brother Leon carefully builds a connection with Archie and The Vigils in an attempt to gain the ultimate power at the school. My Mom is my role model. I guess this is due to the fact that I used to scarcely see my Dad because he comes home really late; he still does, though not as late, while my Mother took care of me ever since she quit the job as the General Manager when I was in 2nd grade. She is the one who is there for me whenever I have a problem, like a robot on standby, but she is also a harsh whip with her discipline though she never hit me. My most notable memory of my Mom is when I sucked at math in 3rd grade. I don't know how to do a problem so naturally, I asked her. However, after she taught the same problem 4 times, I still didn't get it. I was afraid she would get mad, but she didn't and in the end when I finally got it, I asked her why she is so patient. She simply replied "practice makes perfect", an old…

    1. She has influenced me to take the best care of myself. My mom is always harassing me about my schoolwork. It is because of her that I generally have my schoolwork completed to the best level it can be. As a result, I have learned responsibility for my duties. My mom has also taught me to never degrade myself. She was there to help me study, instead of letting me mope around, when I got my first bad grade in elementary school. Now, I look at how to improve my work or myself when I don’t get ideal results. My mother made me believe that I am a good human being if I love who I am.…

A lasting impression; that is much more than anyone else has ever accomplished. She would write me cute letters almost every day, some saying little as “have a good day pumpkin face.” She would call my pumpkin face because my face when I first woke up in the morning was priceless she said. Anyways I still keep all the letters in a box in my closet. I was really too young to understand a lot of the things she talked to me about, but I think it just comforted her to tell me what she was thinking, because she knew I would always listen intently. When I finally became of qualifying age, she asked me to certify for CPR with her. She was always looking for some way to help people. First and foremost, my mom has taught me to be happy and true to myself because I can never not face myself, and the choices I make. When I grow up, I hope I can be just like her, as I thought when I was a little girl and still think until this…

My mother Jeanne has always raised me on a tight leash and taught me to have morals, ethics, self-respect, and class about myself. She raised me and my older brother by herself for a long time, and we never really got to have the “Wonderful” mother/daughter relationship every little girl wants with her mother, but because of our relationship growing up it has made us so much closer now that I am an adult and have my own child. My mother is a big reason why I am the person I am today, I was always told I’m just like her and I wouldn’t have chosen to have it any other way.…

During my pre adolescent years, as best as I can recall, my mother was the driving influence behind my development. She is a good person and a mother with an iron will and a strict way, and I believe that she was one of my first role models. My father played a part in my development also. He instilled in me the morals and values that I have today and I thank him for that. Unfortunately my father passed away thirteen years ago before I had a chance to tell him that.…

She’s taught me to fight for what I love and what I think is right, and I carry those lessons with me every day of my life. She and I have always been close, so a lot of my values come from her. Her encouragement to strive to become better and to work towards my goals, no matter what they are, has translated into my own personality. I find myself often encouraging my friends and the people I surround myself with to strive towards their goals instead of aiming lower. She’s taught me to value kindness and ambition, beneficence and the…
