My Nursing Goals
I have never felt the need to set the world on fire. In fact, my ambitions are much smaller than that. Its not always about the amount of people you have an impact on but the quality of the impact made. I was once told quality over quantity and I would like to live my life like this.
In my lifetime, I have been given so many gifts. I was blessed by God with a multitude of talents, and I would love to use every one of my gifts and talents to better this world and make a huge impact before my time is over.
I plan to become a nurse and in being a nurse, I would like to be able to fill not only physical needs of patients, but be there for them in a bigger way. Everyone deserves to have someone in their life that treats them the way that everyone

I would like to help organize events that raise awareness or money for certain organizations, such as homes for battered women, cancer research, among many other organizations that help spread good in our world. Organizations that help homeless and the hungry in our communities are always looking for people to volunteer to put together food baskets, make food, and serve food. I could use my talents to cook to bring joy and a good meal to the people who do not have enough to eat. Even when life gets hectic and there isn’t much time, I could always donate food to the shelters and food banks to help the needy in a different …show more content…
There are programs to help these families, but some people don’t want to work with a big organization. This is why I would like to start “My Foster Closet.” This would be just a small closet that could help families that struggle to clothe the kids that they receive. Most kids in the foster system don’t have much if any extra clothing or toys. This closet would be somewhere families with foster children could come to get clothes for them. It will hold an array of sizes, colors, and styles. With the clothing there would be a stock of dipers to get families started when they get a new child. I would gather clothing from people who were willing to donate and I would also purchase some of the clothing when I found it on sale of needed a certain size. This idea has always been something I have wanted to do, and I want to make it happen because there should be no reason that families that want to foster children should have a problem doing
