My Pediatrician Goals
I was born in the US to Elsa and Fortino, two loving Mexican parents. They both migrated to this country on their own in hopes of a better life. Here they got married and had my younger sister, Kaylee, and I. At that moment my mother had two other kids, Marcia- the oldest and Ozziel- the only son. They all impacted my life and molded me into the person I am today. My parents for example always took us to church and made sure we were responsible and model children. My siblings taught me that there are many ways in which one can be successful. My sister had her family and graduated from Harbor college, while my brother had his family and was a Marine for six years. In the current situation at home I was forced to grow up fast because I had to …show more content…
I have to acknowledge both my strengths and weaknesses. I have to look at my goals and find the determination and inspiration in order to reach the end. I have to work hard and continue the long laborious trail that would lead me to my ultimate goal of becoming a pediatrician. As of right now I want to be a pediatrician, however this may change throughout my journey, but I know that whatever I’m doing I will want to be helping as many people as I can. To achieve this I want to be able to finish high school and move onto a four year college. My ultimate dream school is Boston University, and I am working hard in order to attend there. I want to enroll in a premed program and after that I want to enter Medical School. As for my family goals, I do want to get married and have a house of my own with my husband and kids. I also want to see if it is possible to adopt a baby, since there are so many kids without a home. As well as these major goals, I do have smaller more personal goals I want to achieve. An example is for me to be able to run a marathon again, and if it is possible, run one every year and maybe even qualify for the Boston Marathon. Another goal of mine is to be able to help my family financially, since they have done so much for me. My life is compiled of goals I have set for myself, and all that is left is for me to reach each and every one of

There are many types of goals. Growing up, I always dreamed of being two things: a mother and a nurse. I am blessed to have two wonderful children ages 14 and 16 and have had the privilege of being able to be a stay-at-home mom during their younger years. Now that they are older and a bit more independent, I have decided to go back to school and fulfill my goal of earning my degree in Nursing. Throughout the years of growing and maturing, I have learned how important it is to have good morals, values, goals, a passion for something, and a good education. I have not only taught my children the importance of these characteristics, but I have also shown them that regardless of one’s age or stage in life, that…
