1. What do you believe to be true about human nature and living in a social world? Everyone grows up with different values and way of living their lives. I grew up being taught that the finer things in our lives are what make us whole. They are not tangible possessions, yet sensations and feelings. I believe that to embody a life worth living we must be active in our faith and give thanks for the life we are given and the beautiful world we live in. I believe that to lead a good life, is to enjoy every second you have with the people you love the most. I believe that we as humans need our God, our family and an open heart to have lasting happiness.

Nonetheless, each person shares similar traits and qualities that define good or bad. My impression of a truly good person is someone who makes the best of every situation, shows kindness to all people and smiles. There are positives and negatives in every situation we are in. A truly good person will focus on the positive situations and try to improve the negatives. There are some people in this world that we will never find common ground with. That as it may, a good person is kind even to the people they don’t relate to. Finally, I believe that a truly good person walks around with a smile on their face. A smile can simply light up the room and bring a little joy to someone’s day. My impression of a not so good person is someone who is a victimizer, offender and negative. I pertain to a victimizer as someone who cheats others. Cheats them out of games, materials, and deals. Anyone who is considered an offender is a bad person in society and constitutionally. You don’t find too many good people breaking the law all the time. Lastly, I believe that a not so good person brings negativity wherever they go. When negative people walk into a room, they bring attitudes down and make people feel uncomfortable. This is why I think a truly good person shares a smile. To acquire professional behavior one must maintain a professional demeanor. We will experience times of disagreement and anger in the workplace. It’s crucial that we remain calm and handle tough situations in appropriate manners. Though it is important to act professional, one must also dress professionally to the general accepted norms. Recognizing that we don’t know everything and need assistance on certain conditions, I believe, is a great professional quality. As a professional you must know your limits and areas where you are not comfortable in. When noticing this, we can broaden ourselves and become more knowledgeable each day. Listening to supervisors and taking feedback to help your understanding of your field is another important trait to have when being professional. You are on the right track if you keep working toward growing in your knowledge and gain maturity in professionalism. A final quality that all great professional have is respect and appreciation. As a professional, showing sensitivity and attempting to build relationships with patients demonstrates that you appreciate what you are doing and strive to continue your work in a respectful manner towards others. With that being said, I consider unprofessional behavior to lack in the qualities I mentioned previously.
