My Reflection Nacion
My Reaction
President Aquino started his Sixth SONA by issuing an apology that the traditional processional walks was not made because he was not feeling well during this time. The President then acknowledges the presence of his fellow politicians and members of the congress and the diplomatic corps including the past presidents.
The President mention many things such as blaming the previous administration about NBN ZTE Deal, Hello Garci controversy, questionable bank accounts of Jose Pidal, Maguindanao Massacre, MWSS Bonuses and the NFA anomalies. Highlighting the achievement of his cabinet members like Commissioner Kim Henares for her tax reforms mentioning the 380 cases filed against tax evaders. The collections of the BIR also went up to P1.3 trillion and this year 2015, the BIR collection went up to P1.5 trillion. He also highlighted the ‘Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program’ or 4Ps which now have 4.4 million beneficiaries from 786,523 in 2010. In 2008, there were 2.9 million out of school youth in the country. In 2013, only 1.2 million out of school youth remained.
These are just few He mention on his SONA 2015. My reaction on the report he made to the People’s Republic of the Philippines I do believe he had accomplished his plan and fulfilled his promises as “Tuwid na Daan”. I myself set as an example of the program he established the “Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino”. I’m honored that I’m a member of the said program and benefited all the benefits that intended for my family especially to my 2 girls.

Before transferring to Georgian Court University, I had already attended two other colleges. I lived in a dorm my freshmen year at Ramapo and decided that was not for me. After leaving Ramapo, I decided to take a few semesters at Brookdale Community College in order to fulfill some requirements while deciding where exactly was the right place for myself to continue with my education. After searching through many brochures and getting first hand details about schools from people I am acquainted with, I was overcome with joy when I found Georgian Court. Since I am double majoring in both English and Education, it is hard to find schools that offer the two as a pair as well as offer the special endorsement for teaching students with disabilities. Georgian Court is also one of the top teaching schools, with a very high rate of job placement after graduation, which was another thing that captivated me. The economy is very unpredictable at this point in time and it is only plausible to choose the very best school to go to that is well known for the extraordinary practices in the field of study you want to pursue. Here at Georgian Court I have found everything I have been looking for.…

I have been working at ... for about a month now, I have made great relationships with the children in my class. I noticed the one girl in particular has become quite attached to myself. Another member of staff explained to me that she has quite severe attachment issues because of her home life. She explained that I should not allow this child to be so attached to myself, as she will always rather be with adults, that I should encourage her to play with other children in her class. I found this quite difficult trying to distance myself, whenever I was working with other children this young girl would always want to join in or just have a chat with me. It was very difficult for me to have to tell her that she needed to play with the other children. I know the young girl had defiantly picked up on my different behaviour with her and this distressed me quite a bit.…

In Mr. Rodriguez's Spanish 1-2 class, we have learned so many new things and have had the amazing opportunity to gain more fluency in another language. Some of the goals we had in the beginning of the term were to learn the appropriate level of Spanish, for example more knowledge of verbs, and how to say basic conversations and greetings. We were expected to have learned everything we were taught, and the basic part of the Spanish language. Mr. Macfarland was our Spanish teacher, and his techniques were that we did our homework in homework packets, and we would sing our vocabulary, which benefited us and helped us memorize it in an easier way. When we took test, quizzes and answered questions aloud, he could judge if we were learning or not by the answers we would give, or the grades we would receive.…

In view of the worsening poverty situation and the MDG targets, the Philippine government ran a pilot CCT project in 2007, targeting 6,000 poor households in two provinces and two cities. It proceeded to implementing a full-scale program in 2008, calling it Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and targeting 320,000 additional households. When Benigno Aquino III was elected president in 2010, he decided to sustain his predecessor‘s 4Ps, and further expand its coverage so that when he bows out of the presidency in 2016, it will have reached a total of 4.3 million households (PCIJ 2011). Quoting the…
