Nancy G. Brinker is an example of someone who does not tell others what to do. She is a very loved woman and chooses to be heroic who helped millions. She does not volunteer, and run her organization to take money from people and use it for her own benefit. She wants the best for families who go through breast cancer. “ It was a wrenching moment, William’s father Adrian Love, told her to send the children ahead” (Barry 19). This sentence shows how a father shows heroism by putting his children and others before himself. He let other people on the helicopter evacuate first and get to safety.
True heroes are kindhearted, assist others, and do not cheat and lie. Nancy G. Brinker has done many courageous actions such as spending time and money to her foundation, Susan G. Komen. She promised her dying sister, she would do anything in her power to end the disease of breast cancer.
