predominantly his ability to engage with both political parties to asses refugees; his perception of equality between races and his determination to change refugee lives for the better; personifies the values of a true Australian hero.
To begin, like Martha Luther king; Paris Aristotle stood up for what he believed to show demonstrating impeccable courage.
Although many of us wouldn’t question the treatment of asylum seekers; Paris gave voice to those who couldn’t. Form past experiences, haven’t we all had those times when we want to stand up for something but we just can’t for some reason? In September he implored the Turnbull government to remove asylum seekers from Nauru and Manus Island, or face the "high likelihood" that many more would attempt to harm themselves. award.
Additionally, like a glint of light at the end of the time of heartache Paris’s moralistic actions personify the embodiment of equality. Racism one of the most controversial topics in the world; Paris is an advocate for equality. As a society we acknowledge apart of our national identity is multiculturalism; could you ever image working in an anti-cultural society? As an advocate for refugee trauma and rehabilitation he border his horizon by empowering Australians to continue to personify a multicultural society. Like an army soldiers we stand for our multicultural identity. Although, many political figures disagree with the appreciation of our identity it’s not all about socks and thongs. Standing at the end of a time of adversity for refugees he is there hero- our hero. It is undeniable that we must present our most honourable award to the most moral man in existence.
Furthermore, Paris Aristotle shares a sole characteristic with many popular figures to be classed as an Australian hero.
What is a hero is a hero to you? Is it the determination to make change in not only your own but so many others for the better? The development of Paris’s torture, trauma refugee rehabilitation foundation in 1988 he has continued to lead a nation of shelters for the lost and now found refugees. Despite many adversities that took over and nearly destroyed his mission to advocate and rehabilitate torture and trauma refugees he made it a top priority to help refugees. His missionary goals expose his determination to change so many lives for the better; even more of a reason to award Paris with the Australian of the year
award.
In summary, it is unquestionable that Paris Aristotle is the unequivocal hero deserving of the Australian of the Year award. Paris has demonstrated patience upon entering a political minefield, personal integrity and his determination to change refugee lives for the better; simulates the values of a true Australian hero. As Paris is the open arms at the end of times of regret; are you the next Paris Aristotle? In the end, "A hero is someone who put’s one’s life before their own", and Paris Aristotle is an impeccable example this.
