In the first month of the second semester the group had two choices of product proposal. The first one is the rice coffee but Professor Pablo Calderon disapproved the first proposal that’s why the group presented the other product and that is Toasted Pastillas. Then, Professor Calderon liked and approved the product to become the business of the group.

Toasted Pastillas is a bitter-sweet chewy milky candy coated by the glaze melted sugar originally from Malolos, Bulacan. It’s become more popular in the social media like facebook there’s an online selling of this kind of product.

In the next month after proposing the product, the group started to implement the product proposal and that is the toasted pastillas. The group need to implement the their product for them to know how to do it and how they will handle it as a business.They bought the ingredients like powdered milk, condensed milk, sugar, butter in the supermarket and they barrowed oven from their friend to toast the pastillas. They started to do the procedure of how to make a pastillas as home based product.First step is put the powdered milk and condensed milk in a bowl mix it together until it become mad and sticky and hard to mix it consumed up to 45 mins it depends of the volume of the powdered and condensed milk . Then, set aside it up to 15 minutes. Shape the candy in to square consumed up to 45 mins, after this roll the candies to the plate with sugar and they toasted it to the oven but unfortunately, they failed the toasting procedure the pastillas melt and become toasted but its look like a messy candy and unlikable to eat because of the over cook to toast it.

They continue searching of how a pastillas bocame toasted. They tried to propose an interview to the owner of toasted pastillas in Malolos, Bulacan but the owner don’t want to reveal their recipe of how they toast the pastillas. Until they discovered a cooking torch that usually used by the some pastry chef, they used it to toast
