1.)The area I believe would remain concrete over time are those which are inherited. Those, I believe our personality falls under the idea of perception. Our brains can change, and in that so can our personality, but the majority of our genetic traits will remain evident and unchanging. For example traits regarding our height, our skills, those may remain stable after adolescence. I tend to believe that nurture is the key factor in change nature. We are products of our environment, and the environment can change almost everything regarding our personality. I believe we change the most during our school days, and then as we grow old that learning declines.
2.) A lot of the characters in 28 Up did not live up to their dreams; however, as they grew up they developed different views on the world as they aged. Kagan believes interaction with biology and environment play a large role in our future development. Which lives up to 28 Up at least from my perspective. Environment causes a lot of change in someone's development.
3.) I believe parents leave a big mark on one's life, as even in my own life they helped me with my job ambitions, my school success and my moral values. Peers also leave a big mark upon our personality. Because we see them the most and hang out with them we are exposed to the idea of trying to fit in while we are with them which results in a big chaage in our personality. Our moral values are developed from or family whereas a lot of other things are affected by our peers and friends.
