Values are learned and picked up throughout our lives. Honor, has multiple definitions, so can mean differently to people. Defined by the Navy, honor means accountable for professional and personal behavior. In other words, being that individual whom does what he/she think is right. Whether you be a sailor, marine, airman risking your life to ensure America stays safe, or a pastor passing on the word of God. Both instances and actions being done give off that moral conviction that you’re doing something in your heart you feel is right.
Courage, the value that gives someone the moral and mental strength to do what is right, with confidence and resolution, even in the face of temptation or adversity. A person, who is bold and strong, both mind and body, is normally found to be courageous. Physical courage arises in the event of any danger or difficulty, which suddenly appears. That is what I want to distill in my family especially in my children as they grow to become young adults. Hard obstacles will appear in their life and I want them to have the courage and physical mentally to battle through
