There are two classification systems exist and are frequently used witch are:
1. Seddon’s classification:
2. Sunderland’s classification:
--Multiple Sclerosis is causes the demyelination of axons in the spinal cord and brain. This is a result of loss of oligodendrocytes and scarring of white matter in the nervous system. Also, demyelination in MS is inflammation caused by an autoimmune response. The inflammation prevents proper recovery and repair of axonal myelination.…
5) Damage to this nerve would cause difficulty in speech and swallowing, but no effect on visceral organs.…
For regeneration of neurons (getting sensory feeling back), his type of injury involves the PNS neurons that were involved, rather than CNS neurons, so the chances of his neurons regenerating increase.…
H. Polyneuropathy is an appropriate term to describe Nick’s symptoms because his symptoms are caused by damage to more than one nerve. (poly meaning multiple)…
The senior paramedic, Jim Roberts, reported that the patient was swimming at the local quarry and did a forward flip into the water, striking some submerged rocks.…
If the nerve to a muscle is cut, what will happen to the muscle?_The muscle would suffer paralysis and would atrophy.…
Signals from the SNS cause smooth muscles of the intestine to _excite_ contractions, while signals…
I believe there has been peripheral nerve damage because of the symptoms that he exhibits. It seems that his receptors are not effectively communicating back to the central nervous system; in addition he is losing his somatic reflexes in his feet, both indicating damage to his somatic nervous system. I guess there could be damage to the central nervous system, but I would expect that the symptoms would be even more severe.…
There are six automatically-calculated classification schemes in ArcMap: Equal Interval, Defined Interval, Quantile, Natural Breaks (Jenks), Geometrical Interval, and…
label them. From there, we can abstract from the individual cases to talk about ‘types’ of…
The first one is the central nervous system which includes the brain and the spinal cord. The nerves of these two structures are in control of body movement. The second division includes the rest of the nerves and ganglia that are not included in the central nervous system, which serve as communications relay and it’s known as the peripheral nervous system (Marieb, E.N. & Hoehn, K.). The existence of both divisions is very important because their function is necessary in order to maintain a homeostasis. The peripheral nervous pick up stimuli through receptors from the external environment. Stimuli is then sent to the brain for processing via afferent sensory neurons. Once the brain receives the information and processes it, it send a response via efferent sensory neurons. The response gets to effector muscles which can now react to the situation on the external environment. If one or more nerves in either one of the two divisions is damaged, the person’s body would not respond properly to the brain’s demands, putting the person’s life in danger. For this reason, illnesses that put the nervous system at risk of getting damaged need to be taken care of as soon as they are…

"Quietly, unobtrusively and extremely fitfully, something in my mind began to assert itself, to question things, and to refuse to be brainwashed " The main character, Tambudzai, in the novel Nervous Conditions by Tsitsi Dangarembga, is determined to get a white education without losing her native tongue and ways. However this proves to be more difficult that she would expect and seeds that are planted in her mind by the whites begin to take shape, and greatly affect her existence. I will begin by giving an overview of the story leading up to the point where Tambu heads off to begin her education at the missionary school. Next I show how Tambu has already been brainwashed into believing that the white's educational system is better than her own. Following I will discuss the influences that Tambu had to overcome in order to refuse to be brainwashed further. Finally I will give exam to the insight that Tambu's story offers on the situation of a person in her position.…
Classification is a way of ordering the world around us. It’s the arrangement of objects, people or ideas into classes or groups. Whenever you speak of professors, sophomores, women, men, jocks, or nerds, you are grouping individuals together as a class because of one or more things they have in common. You ca do the same with individual objects or ideas.…
