When Romeo found out about Juliet’s “death” from Balthasar, Romeo knew immediately what he wanted to do and his plan was to go to the Capulet’s family tomb and drink the poison he had bought, so he could die next to his dead wife Juliet. When Romeo arrived at the Capulet’s tomb he found Paris putting flowers on the tomb for Juliet. When Romeo goes to confront Paris and ask why he is here and when he does Paris challenges Romeo to a duel and as they duel Romeo does not want to fight all he wants to harm is himself, but to no avail Paris does not stop therefore Romeo is forced to kill Paris before he is killed by Paris. After Romeo kills Paris he lays him in the tomb and then realizes that death has had no effect on Juliet’s beauty. After Romeo has stared at Juliet enough he drinks the poison therefore killing himself. When the Friar comes to get Juliet he stops and asks why Balthasar is here and Balthasar tells the Friar Romeo’s plan to kill himself. When the Friar goes into the tomb he finds Romeo dead and Juliet just waking up. Then, Juliet tells the Friar to leave and when she sees that all of Romeo’s poison is gone she is disappointed because she will not be able to kill herself, until she sees Romeo’s dagger, which she then uses to stab herself and she dies. When the town hears about their deaths they are all very shocked and then the Friar tells everyone that really Romeo and Juliet were married and that is why she did not want to marry
