Night Of Broken Glass Music Analysis

On Tuesday, November 10, 20015 at 7:30pm at Tilson Hall, School of Music, located at Indiana State University presents Night of Broken Glass. The group performed a series of ensemble, which includes Theme from Steindler’s List by John Williams. The type of music that was presented throughout the song was vocal instrumental. The conductor and the members started with a vast low-pitch as it speeds up to a high pitch that seems to become a melody. Interestingly, the melody is relatively simplistic to understand. The opening melody piece has been iterated gradually in the piece at the time. The conductor and group appeared as soloist and counter master initially before starting their performance. This is very exhilarating piece. In my opinion, it actually sounds better than I anticipated. Although I was impressed by the first performance, which was incentive for me to proceed to watch the entire concert performance.
As I enter the door of the music concert, the depiction of the concert environment was virtually pitch black. I barely could not see the participants in the audience as I attempted to search for available seat. The station and the overall hall of the music concert was pitch ball excerpt for the floors in which is the equivalent to the color as the bright light bulbs inside the auditorium. I really visualize the idea of being in the existence of an actual performance setting, which was very intriguing. The type of music the concert band presented was symphonic music that comprised of primarily of woodwinds, brasses, and percussion. All of the performer’s ensembles consist of several members of the woodwind, brass, and percussion families of instruments. The historical era was considered to be Classical, which I took me a while to be able to understand
