The Internet And Technology Can Help Students Achieve Their Goals The integration of technology in education is no longer a “new” idea. Even the people who think technology and the internet have negative effect cannot deny that the internet and technology are important and useful, because those people also use the internet to post their idea against the internet. In addition, there also are some reasons why the internet and technology can help students achieve their goals. First, technology and the internet play a major role in the student learning process. Each student use application software like word, excel, power point to finish their assignments or presentations. Furthermore, some schools even provide some online classes to students, and that lead students and teachers no need to face to face. Technology and the internet totally changed our life, with the internet students can study at home and students can search the references at home. In a word the internet and technology make their life more efficient. Second, “technology and the internet can be a tool of study” (Michael Ross December 16, 2009). For instance, search engines can help students find and access information easily and fast. Students can find so many useful information on the web which is beneficial to students. For example, a student can use Google to find information for their research work, term paper or even when doing an assignment or homework. In addition, the web, through the various media like pictures, videos, audio and animations makes the learning life fun and interesting. “The internet and technology make the combination of media and learning come true and that is important in enhancing understanding and improving memory.”

    Importing technology into the classroom now offers a substantial amount of information. With the use of internet students can surf the web and find information at their fingertips. The internet offers so much, almost too much.
