There would be some pros and cons that would have an effect with the school in a mall. One thing that might be a problem is that there are so many people it could get too crowded. It would be hard to keep the kids away from all the sicknesses going around. Another thing that could be a problem is that you would need a lot of employees to work. For the subject reading, there would be letters of complaints or reports of the stores to read. Instead of reading straight out of big text book the whole year. With writing, instead of just writing stories, they could answer back to some of the letters. Or they could write about businesses on how well they are doing or things they could work on and even could make print ads of the stores.
There are two more subjects, math and science. Math would be a great subject to learn in the mall. Kids would still be learning traditional math but could do other things like keep track of how many people come to the mall each month. Also they could learn how to do bills for the mall or what hours are the busiest during the day. Science could be fun one too; they could learn different things like how to feed the fish in the aquarium and how to clean the aquarium with chemicals that won’t harm the fish. Maybe even help design new rides for the amusement park.
Altogether, there would be a lot of work put into having a school in a mall. With different ways of learning, different job skills, communicating with new people everyday, and hands on activities kids could learn in a new, but better way.
