Nonverbal Interference With A Nurse
In my criteria, I believe the nurse should showed listen actively because you have to know the need for your customer. Many times these needs are not communicated to you directly but through inferences, and indirect comments or nonverbal signals. Listen activate, you have to learn to process consisting of four phases; receiving, hearing the message, attending, comprehending, assigning meaning, and responding. The nurse should have not interrupt to the patient because that interject her ideas, also she should have not make any comments unless they are designed to clarify a point made by the customer. Show empathy with the patients by empathizing especially when the patients is open up to listening to someone that may not see her again. Opening up emotionally is an incredibly difficult and brave thing to do, but it will all deepen the connection and the listening skills that is connective with the nurse and patient. …show more content…
