nothing is impossible
Nothing is Impossible!
I used to think things i wanted to do were too impossible, or too extreme, or to unrealistic, but I now know that if you set your mind to something, you can do it. i learned that nothing is impossible because my Aunt had cancer. I thought 'she is gonna die, it's impossible that she is gonna keep on living.' To this day she is living out her life to the fullest cancer free. She told me i could do anything, i now know i can do anything. I wanna make a difference in the world. i wanna save someone in need. I think everyone should be given the chance to live out their life to the fullest. I am gonna make that change so everyone has the chance to do that and to try to achieve their dreams. Even if i can only help one person, i know i helped someone and made them happy. i know it is going to be hard to try and do this but i am willing to to put my sweat, tears, and passion into this goal because everyone deserves a chance, and i think i can do this because nothing is impossible. i am going to this but i know i will not be able to do this alone. i am going to try and make a club or something like that to help me and then we can have a bigger impact. We can raise money for Unicef. There is also another charity we can do called Red Nose Day. It is a British charity that helps children get the nutrients and vitamins they need to keep living. The children that are only 3 years old and don't get them die because they need it but people don't realize it only takes one call are a few dollars to save their lives. They are only 3 years old and they dont get to live their lives. To meet people, to fall in love, to have friends, to go to a school, to go to college, to find out their passion, all they need is a person to care for them and want them to help them. I wanna be that person. I wanna make a chance to that little girl or little girl. They deserve a chance, let's stand together and give them that chance. Let's make a difference. So let's do it. i

By having the right mindset and setting out to do the goals I said I would I have overcome so much in such a little amount of time. Just like how William Pollard said it best in his quote that I had quoted earlier in my paper about those who are not ready to make that change will be left behind and I for sure do not want to be left…

Ever since I was young, I was always interested in the idea of helping people other than myself. I never knew the actual meaning of truly helping another person until October, 2010, my freshman year. My resolve for helping others sparked into a flame when I visited a church in San Jose where I experienced something that would completely change my life. At this church, there was an organization called Milal that helps take care of people with disabilities. It was in that place that I was able to learn the true meaning of helping others.…

I have come to understand that I have an innate urge to help those more disadvantaged than I. I believe that God has placed this urge in my so that I can be an instrument of his will. We all have the potential and are called to me such an instrument and that calling comes in different avenues for each person. I believe that I have found one such avenue. I learned God understands and know the potential in each person and will task him or her with only the things they have the power to handle. I pray that as the years go forth and I enter into my professional career this experience and other experience will grant me the knowledge on how to create a nonprofit organization that will help the children of Haiti gain a proper education. I this yearning to construct something of that nature could only be placed in me from God and that’s how I know that I will be able to bring it into…

When someone looks at me, they see one thing; I see another. In my mind I want to help people, but in a way that is behind the scenes and not the whole world knows about. One of the aphorisms in this novel that I love and applies to me is, “If you really want it, then you’ll make your dreams happen.” It relates to me because I’m trying to be a foreign exchange student next year. It’s been a goal I’ve had for awhile, and so many people try to tell me I can’t do it. I’ve set my mind to doing it, and I think everyone should think this way and try to achieve their goals. People should aim high in life and never stop until they reach the top. Anything is possible if you just take that first step. Our society needs more achievers who will change the world.…

Get rich, cure cancer, have children, fall in love, see Paris, climb Mount Everest, they’re all respectable yet ubiquitous goals that I hear from all of my friends. Every person wants to fabricate a global change but in all candor the first step dawns within ourselves. I yearn to cross this nation with my own two feet, seeing the sun rise in every time zone and set on every terrain of this land. I want to see the purple mountain majesty as I stand on the deserted highway in my hiking boots and feel the amber waves of grain lean their silky hands against my palm. I want to see the wealth of my American heritage from one shore to the other, take out the tumor of curiosity and replace it with the medicine of experience and wonder, and fall in…

If I could end anyone's problem, it will be to end false hope. I'm all about ending false hope because I know how it is to have false hope. I don’t mean it by not getting a new phone and end up getting the last years version. I mean it by someone telling you that they will be there for you and they end up leaving you in the dust. Especially in other countries, like Africa, or the other third world countries. Those people are promised help and when the day comes the people who promised to help don't come. Those people in those countries are filled with hope for new beginnings and they never come. That is what I would like to stop around the world.…

Growing up, I have always known that I wanted to do more for the world. I wanted to help people that were hurt, disabled, or disadvantaged. I’ve always thought the world could be better if we stood up for one another and make each other’s days. My parents taught me while growing up that giving back is always more important than all the material things I could receive. I became a member of a girl scouts pack near my house and we always assembled fundraisers and donated what we made to local charities. When I decided I didn’t want to undertake the responsibilities of a girl scout, my dad introduced me to Special Olympics.…
