Did you ever wonder how head lice, ticks fleas and bedbugs become a growing problem (Approximately 12 million head lice infestations occur each year in United States only) despite they are primitive creatures ?
The simplest answer is that every 3-5 years they develop resistance to chemical products on the market (according to IMS) while we are limited to materials that attacking their respiration or nervous systems.
This is about to change. NovoSeed technology goal is to develop revolutionary domestic devices that eliminate parasites within seconds using acoustic field. Its Patent application (PCT) on its first three market entries (head lice, fleas/ticks and bedbugs) has already been accomplished using a top patent law firm, Ehrlich & Fenster. Lab experiments are performed by Kosta Y. Mumcuoglu, PhD. NovoSeed' lab experiments show over 97% mortality rates with exposure time of 1 second. Within 3 minutes of combing all head lice are eliminated. A few different headlice comb models were designed and examined in order to find the best option.
