Firstly, Communication is verbal and non-verbal. It is, therefore, defined as an act of conversing with people, to pass information, to consort, to express thoughts, to send a message across and being understood. However, it is a process that involves both patient and nurse actively. Consequently, nurses need to create a positive emotional atmosphere for the patient to relax and happy to communicate.
